Beach Bum Honey-Garlic Chicken Thighs

Easy honey-garlic chicken made simple, with a quick five-ingredient honey-garlic sauce. I love to serve this with Rice and fresh steamed broccoli.

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken thighs (With Skin)

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed

  • ⅓ -cup honey

  • ¼ cup water

  • 2 tablespoons seasoned rice wine vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons oil for cooking

Directions:

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Place crushed garlic under the skin

  2. Heat a  cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Add Oil add chicken skin side down and sear until golden, 10 to 12 minutes.

  3. Arrange chicken thighs skin-side up in the pan. Add honey, water, vinegar, and soy sauce. Increase heat to medium-high and cook until sauce reduces down and thickens slightly, 3 to 4 minutes. Place pan in a 350 degree oven to finish.

  4. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the centers should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove chicken serv with rice and vegetables, for a complete meal.

Recipe Tips!

Either bone-in or boneless chicken thighs will work in this recipe.

You can substitute chicken broth for the water if desired.
